RICCIONE and beyond
Riccione, famous for its unmistakable seafront promenade and lively nightlife, can also be the starting point for discovering a hinterland that preserves a rich treasure of history, archaeology art and traditions.
You will discover wonderful small historic villages. Here, traditions handed down from generation to generation come to life in the re-enactments of the numerous festivals that periodically enliven the towns of Romagna, such as the Palio del Daino in Mondaino and the Ottocento Festival in Saludecio.
You will find timeless places where you will be greeted by genuine and cordial hospitality, where the craftsmanship and gastronomy of our land takes centre stage. You will also find La Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori dei Colli di Forlì e Cesena and venture as far as Bertinoro, known as ‘the balcony of Romagna’. The town, located halfway between Forlì and Cesena, is dominated by the imposing Rocca (fortress), which offers visitors views across the entire Romagna plain to the Adriatic Sea.
